Our Relationship with McDonald’s

RMHC Founding Mission Partner since 1974

Since the establishment of the first House in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Ronald McDonald House Charities has been supported by all stakeholders of McDonald’s, i.e. Owner/operators, suppliers, employees and customers, so that the families of sick children can feel easy and spend days in the houses.

Support from McDonald’s is not limited to monetary assistance but ranges from volunteering and support activities using promotions to placing donation boxes at McDonald’s restaurants around the world. Thanks to McDonald’s support, we can serve millions of children and their families and further expand our activities. The same support has been offered to Ronald McDonald House Charities Japan, too, since its establishment of n 1999.

While McDonald’s is our largest corporate partner, Ronald McDonald House Charities is a public interest incorporated foundation and is independent from McDonald’s . RMHC is supported by the entire communities and operated with support from the communities and many companies.
