Information on Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2023 Charity Runner Entry

RMHC Japan is participating in the “Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2023” as a designated donation organization and charity runners can make a registration.
Donations made through the “Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2023” will be used as operating funds for the Ronald McDonald House, which supports sick children and their families.

◇ Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2023 Charity
The Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon Charity is operated in collaboration with the Tokyo Marathon Foundation and designated donor organizations in order to create a legacy that will lead to the resolution of diversifying social issues through the implementation of charitable activities through sports.
◇ Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2023
Date: Sunday, October 15, 2023
Course: Half marathon course starting in front of the National Stadium and finishing at the National Stadium
Entry fee: 13,200 yen *A separate transaction fee will be charged.
◇Participant qualifications
Participants must be 18 years of age or older on the day of the “Tokyo Marathon Legacy Half Marathon 2023.
Other eligibility requirements are in accordance with the “Tokyo Marathon Legacy Half Marathon 2023” application guidelines, application rules, etc.

◇How to participate
Participants can participate by making a donation through the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon Charity.
Those who donate 50,000 yen or more and wish to participate in the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2023 may do so as a charity runner to promote the charity activities.

①For those who have made a donation and wish to participate as a charity runner
■Donation and charity runner application period: 11:00AM April 28 (Fri.), 2023 – 5:00PM May 26 (Fri.), 2023
■Entry period:11:00AM June 1 (Thu.) ,2023 – 5:00PM June 8 (Thu.) ,2023
② For donation only
■Donation application period: 10:00AM April 28(Fri.), 2023 – 5:00PM May 26 (Fri.), 2023
■Donation amount: From 1,000 yen
◇Decision method
First-come, first-served basis
◇Number of applicants
80 people
*After you have applied, we will contact you to your e-mail address registered on May 8 (Mon.) to inform you that you are registered as a charity runner and how to pay the donation.
*We will stop accepting applications when the number of applicants is reached, even during the donation application period.

If you choose RMHC Japan as your designated donation organization and sign up to be a charity runner, you will be provided with various benefits to make the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon more enjoyable!
Benefit #1 Let’s Run with Team DMHC T-Shirts!
All runners who register and support the DMHC Charity Runners will receive an original DMHC T-shirt.
Let’s finish the race together with your fellow runners who share the same spirit.
*Please note that colors and designs are subject to change.
*Only available for registered RMHC charity runners.
Benefit #2: DMHC pins will be given away!
Each participant will receive 5 DMHC pins.
Please tell your acquaintances, friends, and family that you are running as a charity runner and share the pins.
In addition, everyone who participates as a charity runner will be invited to a break room exclusively for charity runners (jointly with other organizations).
The House is operated entirely by donations, fundraising, and volunteers.
Donations made through the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2023 Charity will be used to support sick children and their families.
