12th Ronald McDonald House Charity Golf Tournament

The annual Ronald McDonald House Charity Golf Tournament was held on Monday, December 13 at the Totsuka Country Club. This year, 167 individuals participated in the event, including 43 professional golfers such as Keiichiro Fukabori, head of the golfers’ association.
Despite the rough conditions on the day of the event with cloudy and rainy weather and a high temperature of 9 degrees Celsius, the tournament was very exciting with various highlights such as a ceremonial tee-off by Ronald, Chief Happiness Officer of the Ronald McDonald House.At the awards party, a presentation ceremony was held for the donation raised from this tournament as well as the donation made by professional golfer Keiichiro Fukabori, who agreed to donate 5% of his golf prize earnings this year to House activities. In his speech, Fukabori said, “I am proud to have been involved in charity activities for 12 years. Such activities are very important and I intend to continue my support”, and the party was held in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere from start to finish.

Thanks to everyone’s participation, the “12th Ronald McDonald House Charity Golf” executive committee donated 8 million yen to Ronald McDonald House Charities Japan.
